She has even performed twice at the esteemed Philadelphia Fringe Festival. Ms. Demato has directed and choreographed over 30 full-scale musicals and plays for students of all ages. She is a multi-award-winning choreographer for her work in South Florida. While in Philadelphia, Ms. Demato taught for Theatre Horizon’s award-winning Autism Drama program.
Additionally, Ms. Demato is an alumnus of the International Thespian Society and is thrilled to now be a Troupe Director for Troupe 7010. She is also the Treasurer for the South Carolina Thespians.
Ms. Demato is a proud alumnus of the South Florida Cappies program, in which she is now the Program Director for the Carolina Cappies (reach out to her to find out more!)
Every summer Ms. Demato is honored to be the Conference Coordinator for the National Conference for the American Alliance for Theatre & Education (AATE), which she has also been a proud member of since 2017.
Ms. Demato is a self-proclaimed "theatre nerd" and looks forward to sharing her passion for the arts and welcoming you and your student into our little world of whimsy and creativity here with the Stallion Repertory Theatre!
"The performing arts are taught so one can become sensitive, become closer to an infinite beyond this world, have more love, more compassion, more gentleness, more acceptance, and in short, more life. This is what I hope to achieve as an educator of the arts."
